Yellowwood Lodge (Adults Only) - Knysna

The staff at Yellowwood Lodge were very gentle and accommodating. The rooms at the lodge were perfect and cozy. The location of the hotel near the marina area was fantastic, making it convenient for lunch, shopping, and visiting bars and restaurants.

Delicious and super breakfasts, the stay was lovely!

The location was very central, magnificent easy to find located above the township. We had a beautiful little and well-equipped room with very comfy bed and a fireplace, tea/coffee making equipment, and a flat screen cable TV.

The location for Knysna was particularly good, just off good garden, Yellowwood Lodge and beautiful surroundings. Plus it was max 30 mins walk to the lake.

The twin room at Yellowwood Lodge was beautifully decorated and had a veranda. the location is exceptionally nice, right by a beautiful garden, and with a great restaurant nearby. there is internet access available. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in a lovely area.

Bright, spacious room, comfy bed. Walking distance to shops and bars/restaurants. Ample parking on site. Helpful but unobtrusive owner. Wifi worked pretty well.

Very little storage, fine for 1 or 2 nights, but we stayed 5 nights. Room furnishings were ok, but a little tired. Got stopped by neighbourhood watch person one evening and told it was not safe to walk 500 yards to the local pub, although we never felt threatened. Breakfast was good but a little limited. Pool was not usable, full of leaves, but then it was very early in the season, so I suspect the owner did not expect anyone to want to swim. Shame about the new building which totally blocked any view of the lagoon, but that was hardly the Lodge's fault.

To the eye on arrival was welcoming and homely. The rooms were clean and had everything necessary. The breakfasts were superb, fresh and well prepared. Ernest was a fantastic host and made our stay a really memorable one. We will recommend Yellowood Lodge to friends and family. Thank you

Great location, close to restaurants and Garden Route. It has a self-service feel, so you can pretty much do everything yourself. 🌿

Good location to most of the main attractions in Knysna. Good breakfast.

Bathrooms in need of an upgrade.

our room was spacious and perfect for a family of 4. breakfast was excellent Host was very efficient and available Very pretty B n B Nice and central for everything in Knysna

no shower in the room, but this wasnt a big issue, i would still stay there again

Beautiful location for a getaway. the gardens nearby were stunning! Exploring the Westhill district was a fun adventure 😊.

The lodge is very pretty and provides you with a peaceful place to relax while touring the area. We stayed in the rooms which have their own terrace. They are spacious and very comfortable. Anna the owner is very friendly and provides a nice breakfast and helpful tips for your outings. The gardens are lovely and it is a short walk to the centre.

The bathroom is a bit dated and the shower is not very powerful however this in no way spoiled our stay.

The owner had a wealth of infomration about the area. The room we had was large and bright, and the lodge was within walking distance to the town center.

The breakfast at Yellowwood Lodge was amazing, especially the yogurt and bacon. the staff serving breakfast were always polite and friendly. the lodge's location is very convenient, situated above the township and easy to locate.

Close to town centre and Harbour.

House situated in run down back street with commercial premises in front. On last night we were the only people staying in the house, chalets also empty. No staff avalable.

The room was VERY clean and the staff very pleasant. Decor was extremely nice

Breakfast didn't have any variation -- a change from day to day would be good. The room would benefit from an equiped mini kitchen
